Q. How does this work for me?
A. I know what it takes to start up a business online and how many healers get lost in
the language of today's technology. We work together as a team, giving you your own
computer liaison to deal with all the online start up hurdles that might bog you down.
When your site is up and running with everything in place, I teach you how to make
changes, so you have the power to update your site whenever you like without
paying extra fees or waiting on someone else's schedule.
Q. I don't understand computer jargon, can you translate for me?
A. Absolutely! I can break it down to simple English so you understand what you are working
with. During my 20 year career as a systems analyst I worked with many clients who knew
what they wanted, but had no clue what they needed to manifest their project.
My job is discover what your needs are and how to meet them ahead of time so there are
no surprises down the line. I build and implement your website, and teach you how to use it,
all in plain English so you understand what you are doing.
Q. I am afraid it will cost too much, can you work with my budget?
A. Yes! My job is to make your life easier and get your energy online!
I am sure you have heard it before, the cost depends on what you want.

Q. I know nothing about building websites, how do we get started?
A. Our first step is to connect by phone and get to know each other a bit.
I will ask you some simple questions so we can identify what your needs truly
are so you don't buy costly services you don't need. Once we define what
you want, we gather the information you would like on your website.
This can incorporate your current flyers, brochures and articles,
and new copy or links you would like to see on your site.
Q. What happens next?
A. When your information is gathered and we have a good idea of what you
want your site to look like, I will begin designing the flow and building your site.
You are notified each time I update your website so you can see the progress
we are making. This also gives you the opportunity to approve or change
the format if needed as we build.
Q. I am excited about making my own changes!
How do you teach me to control my own site?
A. Once your site build is complete, and you have approved it, I will walk you through the
software used to update your site. There is still a learning curve, however it is much smaller
with a completed site to work with. Learn to make changes to your site with a minimal time
investment, or if you choose, I can do updates for you till you have the time to learn.
Q. I am computer illiterate. Can you build my site and maintain it so I don't have to?
A. Yes. We can craft and update schedule to meet your needs. Whether you want weekly
updates to change a quote for the week, monthly updates to keep your event calendar up
to date, or add new educational materials as you add new services to your practice.
Q. Will I own my own site?
A. Yes! All registrations will be set up in your name while we are on the phone.
Each year you are responsible for renewing your web services.
Q. What do you mean by registrations?
A. Items like domain names need to be purchased. For example, when you decide on the
website name you would like to use, and if it's available, we will register your domain name
so you can use it on the web. If you would like to accept payments on line, you will need
to register for a payment processing account to start taking online payments.
Q. What's the difference between designing and development?
A. The design process plans the layout and defines how it needs to work for you.
Organizing your information and planning the flow of your website, for example,
how many pages will you use, what services you accept online payments for,
what colors you want, what pictures you like, etc.
The development stage is where all the pieces are built and brought together
to bring your working website to life.
Q. How long have you done energy work? Do you have any certifications?
A. I began studying energy techniques in the late 80's. Over the years I have worked with
many energetic modalities and have more than a thousand hours in training. Currently I am
a certified practitioner of Resonance Repatterning and the Yuen Method. I also have
extensive training in essential oils and the Power of Sound.

Q. If you have an energy practice, why did you get back into computers?
A. I found colleagues were having severe difficulty setting up online businesses without the
help of expensive web developers that charged them for every little change. Many computer
people only deal in cold logic and do not understand what we offer nor do they see the value
in our work. After paying outrageous fees, practitioners were finding their websites did not
reflect their energy, who they were or what they do. I have the skills to help put it all
together and love doing the work!
After seeing what my friends were going through and the need for this service in the energy
community, I was motivated to offer practitioners my blend of skills as an energy worker
and as a systems analyst, so you feel supported, get your energy business online,
and have the power to control your website yourself!
Q. What's your computer background?
A. I started in the computer field teething on punch cards, graduating from Electronic
Computer Programming Institute in 1981, and began work as a programmer. Working
in smaller shops allowed me to learn every aspect of running a computer department,
from operations to system design and analysis to management. Some of the shops
were so small that I was the computer department. I maintained existing software,
designed and programmed new systems, worked as a client and consultant liaison,
and corporate trainer for new systems. During my twenty years in the industry,
I worked primarily in the fields of finance, health care, and telemarketing.
